By downloading, installing, or using the Device Optical Aid (DOA) application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
DOA is a mobile application designed to assist users with visual impairments by providing:
- Visual correction features for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism
- Built-in media viewer for videos, PDFs, ebooks, and manga
- Integrated web browser with accessibility features
- Color blindness testing and correction tools
3. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: DOA is not a medical device and is not intended to replace prescribed correction lenses or professional medical treatment. The App should not be used as a substitute for regular eye examinations or professional medical advice. If you experience any vision-related issues, please consult an eye care professional.
4. User Registration and Account Security
To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate registration information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
5. Privacy and Data Collection
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
6. User Content and Conduct
When using the App, you agree to:
- Only upload content that you have the right to use
- Not use the App for any illegal purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent any security features
- Not distribute harmful software or content
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the App or its services for any unlawful purpose, to solicit others to perform unlawful acts, to violate international, federal, or local regulations, or to infringe upon the rights of others. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts found engaging in prohibited activity.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DOA and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You agree not to reproduce, resell, or exploit any part of the App or its content without express written permission from DOA.
9. Premium Features, Payments, and Subscription Renewal
Some features of the App may require a premium subscription. These features include:
- Unlimited correction time
- No tab limit
- No prescription limit
- Priority support
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees and taxes as outlined at checkout
- Provide accurate and complete billing information
- Accept the automatic renewal terms provided at the time of purchase
- Understand that payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Creem
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the app or by contacting support at doaappsup@gmail.com. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges will be applied.
Creem handles all payment processing and ensures that your payment information is securely encrypted and not stored by DOA. All subscription charges will appear under the name of our payment partner on your bank statement.
10. Refund Policy
We aim to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their DOA experience. If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team within 14 days of your purchase at doaappsup@gmail.com.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Creem’s payment terms and our internal review process. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests if the service has been used extensively, abused, or if a large portion of the subscription period has already elapsed.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the App for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or representations of any kind, either express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the App, or the information, content, or materials included therein.
15. Anti-Tampering Technology Notice
This App uses security technologies to protect user data and comply with app store requirements. The App may not function properly on modified, rooted, or jailbroken devices. These measures are implemented to ensure service integrity and platform compliance.
16. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
